An Urgent Message About Service Provider Services

Today, a number of services within in the campus and community have been affected due to internal issues within one of the KAUST service providers.

University management is currently working to ensure that all services are back to normal as soon as possible.

My understanding is that they are on strike. I have no idea what their demands are, but I hope they are successful in obtaining improved working conditions. I think KAUST should be supportive of that aim in general.

Please don’t forget to give people update. Everyone need to know when services are going to resume. We need to know if there is any point to wait for the bus.

I hope everything gets settled soon. I think KAUST should have an intra-mobile service for updates. I saw many people worried for transportation and etc.
