Amateur Astronomy Association – Beginner's Workshop & Observation Night

The Amateur Astronomy Association (AAA) invites you to attend its upcoming beginner’s workshop and observation night.

Beginner’s Workshop

We invite the KAUST Community to attend our beginner’s workshop tonight. The workshop will introduce you to basic astronomy and the various tools to explore the night sky and also teach you how to use the telescope.

Wednesday, Sept 24
7:00 p.m.
Student Center, Level 4

Observation Night

Observation night will give you the chance to use those tools and the telescope to obtain information on the night sky.

Sunday, Sept 28
7:30 – 10:00 p.m.
Safaa Stadium*

*Shuttle bus from Tamimi Supermarket from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Yes, they are welcome. Today’s session is a general introduction to what could be observed with the naked eye and the telescope.
