AED locations in KAUST

An Automated External Defibrillator (or AED) is a device used to help a person experiencing sudden cardiac arrest. An AED can analyze the heart’s rhythm and, if needed, deliver a shock to assist the heart into an effective rhythm. When it is used in conjunction with Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the chances of survival are increased significantly.
