All faculty, students, and staff of the University are invited to attend the university’s Third Academic Convocation. President Choon Fong Shih will address the community and share his perspectives on KAUST’s vision and mission, as well as our goals and priorities in the coming year.

The Academic Convocation brings together the academic community for the first event of the new academic year. Convocation formally welcomes all new faculty, students, and staff and also extends a “welcome back” to returning members of our academic community. It also celebrates the anniversary of the University’s first day of classes on September 5, 2009.
Light refreshments will be provided in the main foyer of the auditorium following the formal program.
