Kid's Art workshops starting soon

We are happy to announce the start of a new series of art workshops for kids!

We are grateful to Winston Alpuerto for volunteering to teach these classes. Winston will teach different subjects and media each week, including: drawing, painting, paper sculpture, ceramics, printing, recycled materials art and craft work, friendship bracelets, and picture frames.

For who? Kids of Grade 1 – Grade 5 (any younger by special arrangement)
Where?: Art Studio, Island Recreation Center (IRC)
How often?: Workshops are organized in a 4 or 5 week block (depending on when school holidays are), so children will come every Saturday for 4 or 5 weeks (and then there will be another block of 4 or 5 weeks, and so on).
When?: Every Saturday, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. (please don’t be late!).

First series (4 classes): Classes will start on 7, 14, 21, 28 October (no Art SDG Kids’ Art in the school holiday). The cost is 20 SAR for each workshop so you will pay 80 SAR on the first day for the next 4 weeks.
Second series (5 classes): Classes will start on 18, 25 November, 2, 9, 16 December. The cost is 100 SAR on the first day for the next 5 weeks.

Materials: All materials will be supplied by the Art SDG, but you can purchase your own sketch pad for your child (15 SAR each).

Register: Just bring your child along to the studio and sign-up there and pay for the block – no need to sign-up by email or before the lesson.
