Overview of HPC Numerical Libraries and Success Stories—Seminar Series

KAUST Supercomputing Core Lab presents:

Seminar on an Overview of HPC Numerical Libraries and Success Stories

Monday, December 7, 2020
3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Virtual event on Zoom

The KAUST Supercomputing Core Lab (KSL) invites all KAUST faculty, students, researchers and staff to attend the seminar titled “Overview of High Performance Computing (HPC) Numerical Libraries & Success Stories.” The virtual event is part of the KSL seminar series and will take place on Monday, December 7, 2020.

The goal of the seminar is to provide awareness of the optimized numerical libraries installed on KAUST HPC resources. The aim is to give an overview of the state-of-the-art numerical packages and to demonstrate how their integrations into real applications (e.g., astronomy, climate and computational fluid dynamics applications) may further leverage the overall performance.

The attendees will learn how the optimized software libraries are critical for their scientific applications to extract the performance of the underlying architecture from any HPC systems, including the Shaheen supercomputer and the Ibex cluster.
