Accelerating Scientific Applications Using GPUs

6th KAUST-NVIDIA Workshop

The KAUST Supercomputing Core Lab (KSL), in collaboration with NVIDIA are pleased to invite you to the 6th annual workshop on Accelerating Scientific Applications Using GPUs. Attendees will learn about the latest advances by NVIDIA for scientific computing and artificial intelligence as well as showcasing the related KAUST success stories using GPUs.The workshop will be followed by a two-day GPU hackathon where five to six teams of developers will be selected to port and accelerate their domain science application to GPU accelerators. These teams will be guided by OpenACC and CUDA mentors from NVIDIA and KAUST.

Prior to the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to take part in two preparatory training sessions. The first one, on March 10 entitled “Deep Learning Demystified”, and the second one, on March 11 entitled “OpenACC Programming.”

All interested KAUST researchers, students, and staff are encouraged to participate in this exciting event.
