Support the Back to School Campaign for Thuwal and Qadimah
As we enter the second week of our Campaign, we are pleased to announce that community and departmental contributions are up 18% from last year! We are well on our way to reaching our annual goal of providing 700 school bags to local children starting the academic year.
We would like to thank everyone who has participated so far and look forward to your continued engagement.
The campaign runs from August 14 to September 18.

Volunteer – Register here to take part in various campaign activities, including:
- Publicizing the effort
- Assembling school kits
- Distributing school kits in Thuwal and Qadimah
Organized by Social Responsibility, the Back to School campaign is part of our Young Learners Development Program (YLDP) and represents one of the many ways in which KAUST is giving back to our neighbors. The YLDP aims to improve learning environments and educational outcomes for middle school and high school students by working with our local community partners to ensure needs are being met for maximum impact in the classroom and beyond.
