2018 Falling Walls Lab Competition

KAUST has been selected again as one of the world’s leading universities to participate in the 2018 Falling Walls Lab competition. Falling Walls is looking for young innovators to present their research projects, business plans, entrepreneurial projects or social initiatives. Presentations will be made before a panel of international judges and must be completed in just three minutes or less.

Applications are now being accepted. All KAUST community members are welcome to apply. The deadline for applications is August 16, 2018. Here at KAUST, we will hold our campus competition on September 18 and award prizes to our five finalists, just like last year.

The first place winner of those 5 finalists is guaranteed a trip to Berlin! The 2nd & 3rd place winners may also be invited to Berlin to present at the international competition on November 8 – 9 2018, pending consideration of the judges.
