The results of the calendar vote are in!
We received a total of 458 votes and although it was close, the jellyfish inched ahead, winning 53% of the votes.
We had intended to print only the winning design, but in light of the tight vote (a difference of only 23 votes) we decided to scrap the democratic process and print both designs, back to back, creating a two-sided calendar. So now you will have the choice of displaying whichever side you prefer, or even use both designs throughout the year.
The new calendars are in the process of being printed and we expect them to be available before Ramadan.
And if you aren’t a fan of either design – don’t despair. We have a third, more standard calendar design: the 2013 Operational Calendar, which doesn’t feature any underwater photography and will be available later this year.

“…but in light of the tight vote (a difference of only 23 votes) we decided to scrap the democratic process…”
I admire the courage and vision of the communication staff members who looked beyond the democratic process to reach a solution acceptable to all…
Nice designs! Could you please also make available downloadable electronic versions good for mobile devices like iPad/tablet, cell phones?
