Amateur Astronomy Association Observation Night

Thursday, November 27
From 5:30 p.m. onwards
Watersports Center (near South Beach)

5:30 p.m. – Telescope assembly workshop

7:00 p.m. – Observation

Join us in learning how to assemble and use a telescope to observe the night sky. We plan on viewing some interesting star clusters such as the Andromeda Galaxy, Orion Nebula and the Seven Sisters during this observation session. You can also observe the Night Sky using our night binoculars. A shuttle bus will be available from Level 0, Student Center (across the street from Shoro).

All graduate students and KAUST community members are welcome to join the Amateur Astronomy Association; we hold regular meetings, training sessions and night sky observations.
