Dear Nadine
There are several playgroups and activities throughout KAUST. If you weren’t able to attend last night’s Community Open Day to learn more about these opportunities, a good start is the Parents and Tots meet-up that usually happens twice per week. You can check the calendar for exact dates and times: http://kaust.clubhouseonline-e3.com/Events-Lifestyle/Events.aspx

I just want to say thank you to all for a great Open Day event at IRC last night. I have been here for at least 3 previous years events and they get better every year. Last night I was able to register on H-Connect with Basmah from DSFH IT department (which I had problems trying to do in the past)… got to have a friendly chat to the DSFH team who were there (for a change it was not a medical consultation). Got some good tips from the HSE table about precautions when buying adaptors and using electrical appliances – do you have a fire extinguisher in your home, if not contact 959 and ask for one as we should all have them in our homes. Got to taste delicious ‘home-made’ Italian biscuits and biscoti and chatted to Chef Raffael. Looking forward to the opening of the Restaurant in the near future. And there was lots more.. but also not to forget the team that put the event together, and to all those who worked in the background setting it all up and then clearing out after closing. Well done all.
