The KAUST Imaging & Characterization Core Lab (IAC) and WITec GmbH, a member of the Oxford Instrument Group, are organizing a workshop at KAUST that will include lectures and practical sessions.
In the lecture session, scientists from WITec and researchers from KAUST will give presentations on the basics of confocal Raman spectroscopy, confocal Raman imaging, Raman studies in 2D materials, biomaterials, polymers, gas sensors, electrochemistry, and advanced correlative Raman applications.
In the practical session, participants will use the state-of-the-art Raman facility at KAUST to conduct basic or advanced characterization of samples, depending on their experience.
The workshop is open to graduate students, postdocs, research scientists, faculty members, and industry practitioners from KAUST and Saudi Arabia.
