Staycation anytime at KAUST

These regularly offered activities will make your staycation feel like a vacation:

Take a dip in the pool at the Harbor Sports Club and Island Recreation Center (6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily)
Knock some pins at the Bowling Alley (Open 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily. Closed Sundays: remember to bring your shoes!)
Go for a round at the Safaa Golf Club (6:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily. closed Sundays)

Snorkeling Sessions

Island Recreation Club beach: December 17, 18, 31, and January 1
King Abdullah Monument beach: December 24 and 25

Experience an underwater adventure while snorkeling along KAUST’s amazing Red Sea shoreline. Explore coral reefs with the safe guidance of our qualified snorkeling instructors. These 40-minute sessions will be held from two locations, the Island Recreation Club beach, and King Abdullah Monument beach. Learn more and register today!

Kids Winter Camp – December 19 to January 6

Winter Camp is designed for children in 1^st to 5^th Grade to build confidence and self-esteem through a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities. The program is conducted by our friendly and experienced teams from The KAUST Children’s Center and Coastline Recreation, who are committed to making the wintertime exciting and memorable.

Building Blocks Daycare activities: December 19 to January 6

Daycare is offering exciting and fun-filled activities throughout the winter for children aged one year up to six years There are full-day and half-day options.

KAUST is bringing back the magic of the Outdoor Cinema!

Join us at the Al Marsa Amphitheatre for a cinematic experience under the stars. Iconic flicks will be projected onto a big screen with surround sound and views of the Beacon, creating a true cinematic experience. The Outdoor Cinema is only available for a limited time, during the cooler winter months – make sure to enjoy it while you can! Learn more.

King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) is offering exclusive discounted rates to KAUST ID-holders for access to KAEC activities. KAEC is a short 35-minute drive north of KAUST and provides many activities for people wishing to spend some time off campus. Learn more.

Online Courses for Children

Budding Genius is a STEM online learning platform that offers a range of online Camps.
