Don’t miss our Final Gala as we celebrate the end of WEP 2021. To kick-off the afternoon, Professor Khaled N. Salama, WEP 2021 chair, and Distinguished Professor Yves Gnanou will start by acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved in the production of the two-week program. Then, we will announce the #scicomm video competition winners. 

To close the event, we will host an online intimate live performance with James Blunt, followed by a Q&A session.

Who is James Blunt?
Blunt’s first album has sold over 11 million copies worldwide, topping the UK Albums Chart and peaking at number two in the U.S. “You’re Beautiful” was number one in the UK, the U.S., and a dozen other countries. Back to Bedlam was the best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK and is one of the best-selling albums in UK chart history. Blunt has since sold over 20 million records worldwide. He has received several awards, including two Brit Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, and two Ivor Novello Awards, as well as receiving five Grammy Award nominations and an Honorary Doctorate for Music in 2016 by the University of Bristol.
