Community Life invites you to join us this Friday, with friends and family, to enjoy our Spring Community Market filled with high-end art, crafts, buskers, kid’s activities, huge pop-up art gallery, live painting demonstrations and more. Meet the Community Life team and find out what we have been doing over the past few months, and share your thoughts and ideas to make your community a great place to live, work and thrive.

COMMUNITY LIFE

4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – meet representatives from Community Life and find out what’s been keeping us busy since our Community Open Day last September. Share your ideas and suggestions on how we can we can work together to make our community an even greater place to live.

ARTISAN FAIR AND MARKET

Artisans from the KAUST community and Jeddah will be showcasing and selling their hand-crafted wares such as jewelry, sandals, candles, balms, stationery, tea blends, rock art, decorative eggs, ceramics, bees wax wrappers, high-end pillows and homewares, baby clothes, paci-chains sebha beads, plants, European kitchen items and Saudi-inspired, hand-crafted hand bags and clutches.

ART GALLERY

Enjoy and purchase incredible art made by our community members from hand-thrown pottery, and abstract resin art, oil paintings and jewelry. Enjoy live painting demonstrations by Jeddah based Saudi Artists and help us welcome new community fashion designers. Lastly, ARTmosphere has been busy sourcing the best in art and design from Saudi artists in Jeddah!

MUSIC

Several of our talented community musicians will be busking—filling Harbor Walk with ambient sounds from ukuleles, drum box, African drums, didgeridoos, and guitar.

KIDS FUN

Lots to keep the kids busy including face painting, interactive art corner, ice cream, and two bouncy castles so you can sit by the harbor, eat, relax and let the kids play.

HOW TO GET THERE

Park in the Harbor Walk car park and stroll down to Harbor Walk or park in the Discovery Square car park and catch the shuttle bus to Harbor Walk.
