Enrichment in the Spring officially opens today with a great range of innovation-themed, events, starting with a midday screening of “Aliens of the Deep,” followed by a discussion after the movie with Professor Thomas Skalak, executive director of The Paul G. Allen Frontiers Group, and Matthew Tietbohl, a master’s degree student from the KAUST Red Sea Research Center. After this, join us for a guided tour of the KAUST Core Labs.
In the evening, you can head along to the Auditorium for the unveiling of the Enrichment in the Spring photography exhibition and our opening night innovation movie “Slingshot,” the story of Segway and Slingshot inventor Dean Kamen. The screening will be followed by a discussion with Professor NorEddine Ghaffour, research professor in the KAUST Water Desalination & Reuse Research Center (WDRC) and Professor TorOve Leiknes, director of the WDRC.
Be sure to check out our creativity hub in the Auditorium lobby, where you can create your own artwork on your very own Enrichment in the Spring bag. Post a picture of your artwork to facebook.com/enrichmentatkaust and you might win a prize.
