We start our second week of WEP 2016 with a look to the stars and Hollywood, as leading astrophysicist Kip Thorne shares his work as science advisor for the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Interstellar’. This is a must see for anyone who has ever wondered about realism in science fiction films.

We also focus on the future of food today with several lectures, including a look by Eric Jellen of Brigham Young University at the research being conducted on Quinoa, an increasingly popular ‘new food’ with twice the protein of rice. Come along for a glimpse at the future of your daily meals!
