The Analytical Core Lab (ACL) is offering a basic training course on the use and application of High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). HPLC is an important analytical technique for separating and analyzing a mixture of compounds in the liquid phase. Coupled with appropriate detectors, HPLC can provide both qualitative and quantitative information about the components of the mixture being analyzed. This short course will cover fundamental concepts in HPLC. Focus will be on important aspects of method development pertaining to HPLC. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity of group participation in a hands-on session.

Tuesday and Wednesday, April 17-18
Ibn Sina Building (building 3), level 3, room 3320

Course Outline:

  • Introduction to HPLC
  • Theory and Practice of HPLC
  • Typical Applications of HPLC
  • Hands-on Session
