We’re looking for KAUST community members to act in a short film project. No previous acting experience required – just enthusiasm and reliability!
Filming location: On campus and off-campus
Filming dates: February 9-14, 2026
All roles are non-verbal
Roles
1. Hiker (male or female)
- Age: 20–40.
- Active, outdoorsy look.
- Comfortable walking on trails / rocky areas for several takes.
2. KAUST Master’s / Ph.D. student (male or female)
- Age: 22–35.
- Ideally a real KAUST student or someone who can convincingly play one.
3. Medical doctor (male or female)
- Age: 28–50.
- Professional appearance (medical background is a plus but not required).
4. Patient (male or female)
- Age: 20–45
- Able to portray mild discomfort or concern in a medical scene.
How to audition
If you are shortlisted, we’ll invite you to a brief in-person audition (around 5 minutes) taking place on January 21.
