Transportation, travel and logistics
Mail and Courier Services will be closed during the holiday period from Thursday, June 13 to Wednesday, June 19.
There will be no work haul bus during the break. Additional shopping buses will be available during the break. Check the Bus Services page for the schedule.
Complimentary airport shuttles
Complimentary shuttles will be available from KAUST to Jeddah International Airport Terminal 1 from June 12 to 15, 2024. Return shuttles will be available on June 21, 22 and June 28, 29. Reserve your seat through the KAUSTCentral app.

Food and retail
The food and retail outlets in the campus and community may have adjusted operating hours for Eid, and some are subject to change throughout the Eid break. The food and retail webpages will be updated with these adjustments, and we encourage you to check back often.

KAUST Health
As always, 911 emergency response and the Emergency Department operate 24/7. The clinic is closed from Saturday, June 15 to Tuesday, June 18.
The clinic will reopen as usual on Wednesday, June 19.
Facilities Management Services
To request Facilities Management services during the Eid holidays, you can log a ticket by downloading the Facilities Management mobile application “959@FM” from any app store. Alternatively, you can call 959 from a KAUST phone or 012-808-959 from a mobile phone for 24/7 maintenance assistance.
Staycation activities and Summer offers
We offer a variety of activities and offers in KAUST and from our partners outside KAUST that will keep you occupied and enriched during the Eid Holiday and summer months. Offerings include camps and programs for kids and various other recreational activities.
