Medical record number information

Dear KAUST community,

KAUST Health is delighted to confirm that from June 1, 2023, all services at the Clinic, TKS health office and the clinical services at the Family & Child Support Centre will be delivered by International Medical Center.

Please remember that KAUST Health’s main clinic remains closed until Sunday, June 4, with clinics starting at 9:00 a.m. The Emergency Room and support services will continue to operate normally, providing uninterrupted care 24/7.

How do I access the services from June 1?

As with any significant change of this type, there will be an initial adjustment period in service provision.  The KAUST Health and IMC teams have been working to minimize any impact on patients and enhance service quality and accessibility.More information about the services, how to book appointments and how to access medical records can be found here.

What is my KAUST Health/IMC medical record number?

Non-IMC patients: All KAUST Health patients now have an IMC unified medical record number. This number can be obtained when calling to book an appointment after June 1 or by visiting the clinic for your first appointment.

Existing IMC Patients: For patients who already have a previous medical record number with IMC, this will transfer to KAUST Health so you can use this number when scheduling appointments or accessing your medical records in KAUST Health. We have worked to ensure a smooth transition to minimize any inconvenience.

To address any questions, we have created FAQs, which will be regularly updated. However, if anyone has further questions, please contact patient.relations@kaust.edu.sa.

We are excited to welcome our new partners to KAUST and look forward to enhancing the service provision over the months and years ahead.

Kind regards,

Daniel Buttigieg
Director, KAUST Health
