Were you phished by our email simulation?

Between September 15 and 23, 2024, the KAUST Information Security Department carried out a click-based phishing campaign by sending an alluring email about “Eat and Reward on the Saudi National Day!” 

The email included what seemed to be appealing discounts and offers in celebration of the Saudi National Day, but several indicators can be used to identify that it was not legitimate email!

Check the different indicators of the phishing email in the infographic below. 

Always be sure to stop and think before you act and re-read emails before clicking on links or downloading and opening attachments. 

Help keep KAUST safe, and report phishing emails. Reporting suspicious phishing emails to the Information Security Office by clicking on the Report Phishing button based on your platform.
