WEP 2018: Human-Machine Future – Three weeks to submit your proposal
Human-Machine Future will be the theme of the Winter Enrichment Program (WEP) 2018, chaired by Omar Knio, professor of Applied Mathematics and Computational Science.
The program will particularly focus on the following three broadly defined topics:
- Sensing (by humans and/or machines)
- Networks (of various kinds, including chemical, biological, power, communication, computer, transportation and social)
- Data (machine and/or sensor-generated)
We will also explore how rapid developments in related fields are shaping a new future for both humans and machines.
Everyone from the KAUST community is invited to submit proposals and can include formats such as workshops, lectures, keynotes, courses, field experiences and exhibits. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, May 14 at 5:00 p.m.
To submit a proposal, please visit our site here (which is accessible both on and off campus). The first 50 people to submit a proposal will receive a gift.
