Join Social Responsibility (SR) for a volunteer activity in Thuwal to support students of our Young Learners Development Program (YLDP).
The English Conversation Club helps Thuwal students in YLDP’s certified English training courses practice and improve their English skills, greatly impacting their studies and future career paths.
Details:
Beneficiaries of the program are Thuwal male and female students from grades 7 to 12 participating in YLDP English language training in collaboration with the British Council.
Date and time:
- Each Monday starting from April 17
- 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Location:
Thuwal Schools
Logistics:
Transportation will be provided to and from Thuwal.
Volunteers’ roles and expectations:
Volunteers are expected to have casual conversations with students and develop scenarios based on pre-defined themes about everyday topics. The SR team will support the process. You should be prepared to ask friendly questions and encourage students to engage in English.
Male and female volunteers are welcome and will be assigned to the respective schools. Women should remember to bring their abayas.
