As part of our ongoing efforts to improve system performance and reliability, KAUST IT will be performing scheduled maintenance on the Visitors Management System (VMS) during the window below:
Maintenance window
Start: Thursday, December 11 at 8:00 p.m.
End: Friday, December 12 at 8:00 a.m.
Duration: Up to 12 hours
What to expect
The VMS will be unavailable during this time. Please follow the appropriate guidance below:
For KAUST community members (with KAUST ID) and personal visits:
- Carry your physical KAUST ID if possible.
- Alternatively, take a screenshot of your Digital ID from KAUST Central or access it directly at vms.kaust.edu.sa/DigitalID.
- To reduce gate delays, residents are encouraged to remain on campus during this period unless travel is essential.
For business visits:
- New visitor requests cannot be submitted during the downtime.
- Please submit all access requests ahead of time.
- For urgent visitor needs during the outage, email VisitorCenter@KAUST.EDU.SA.
- The Security Team at the Visitor Office (Gate 1) will assist with manual entry procedures.
Please note that Personal Visits will not be affected by the maintenance.
