VentureLab Spring 2013. Think Big. Start Now!

Do you have a great business idea?
The Entrepreneurship Center’s VentureLab is a ten-week entrepreneurial development program that helps potential entrepreneurs turn research projects into prototypes and ideas into businesses. VentureLab helps validate the product idea, develop a working prototype or model, engage with potential customers, and pitch to judges and potential investors. It’s fast, furious, hands-on, and result-driven.

VentureLab Program
February 23 – 27 During this week, Professor Les Charm, one of Babson College’s award winning entrepreneurship teachers, will teach “Action-Oriented Entrepreneurship” with focus on further developing the prior coached startups.
February 27 – April 21 This phase will focus on turning accepted participants’ big ideas into reality. The project teams will meet on Sundays with the Entrepreneurship Center’s team.
April 28 Teams will pitch their startup businesses to the KAUST community, judges and potential investors.

Award
The best teams during the showcase event may be eligible for special awards in order to take their startup projects to the next level. During the VentureLab Fall 2012 program, best teams received cash awards, KAUST Seed Funding, or won other startup competitions.
