TKS Students Showcase Future-Focused Solutions at the NTI Visionaries of Tomorrow Challenge

The National Transformation Institute (NTI) hosted its first Visionaries of Tomorrow Challenge, bringing together high school innovators from The KAUST School to design practical solutions for global and local challenges. A total of 18 students presented their ideas on stage, working in teams to develop prototypes across three thematic areas: environmental systems, coral rescue and smart mobility

Over several weeks, students designed and refined their concepts with guidance from KAUST mentors specializing in sustainability, coral research, engineering, and innovation. The final showcase featured 5–7-minute pitches demonstrating problem identification, innovative thinking, and the potential real-world impact of their solutions on Saudi Arabia and beyond.

The judging panel evaluated projects on creativity, feasibility, communication and impact, reflecting NTI’s mission to empower youth to think boldly and act purposefully. Winning teams received Certificates of Excellence and experiential learning prizes to continue inspiring their scientific and creative journeys.
