The Family and Child Support Center will be delivering the evidence-based PEERS® program developed by UCLA. The program aims to support middle school children in developing social skills that ensure successful friendships and positive peer relationships.

Audience
For parents who want their children to develop their social skills further. The program is aimed at young people in grades 5 through 9.
Facilitators
Dr. Paul O’Callaghan and Huda Althahir
Time and venue
Sessions will start on February 27. There will be one session per week for children/young people and one session per week for parents to attend. Sessions for children/young people will take place on a Tuesday between 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Sessions for parents will take place on a Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. (sessions with parents will take place on Zoom). The venue for the group sessions will be room K115 at the FCSC. Planned school holidays will be factored into delivering this program.
Places and total cost
1000 SAR per family for ten sessions.
