Tamimi shopping cart etiquette

As part of the refurbishment of the Large Tamimi Supermarket, Tamimi invested in 135 new shopping carts including 10 special carts for children. These were intended to help improve your shopping experience.

Unfortunately, all of the children’s carts have been removed (borrowed?) from Tamimi and we are missing an additional 59 shopping carts and 60 baskets.

Shopping carts and baskets ARE NOT to be removed from the Tamimi carparks. If you need to get your groceries home and do not have a car or golf cart, please use the bus or alternatively ask for the free delivery service.

If by chance a cart has found its way to your home (including the children’s carts!) please return them today!

Thank you

Who do we contact if we find a cart abandoned somewhere?

This is very difficult to understand, carts and baskets belong to Tamimi and all of us.

Thank you for putting this information on circulation much appreciated.

It will be helpful if it is posted at the doors of Tamimi and also on KAUST Community facebook page to ensure the widest possible publicity as there has been much discussion about this topic.

Dear Admin,
Please remove the comment above as it did the job and it is not actual anymore. The mentioned SC were removed the very next day… 🙂
Thanks,
