Welcome to the fourth edition of TAHAWUL TALK, the quarterly newsletter to help you stay abreast with the latest news about TAHAWUL – Digital Transformation Program.
The year 2021 was significant for KAUST as we embarked on the transformation journey with the launch of TAHAWUL to modernize our systems and empower our workforce and student community with speed, agility and a world-class user experience.
As part of Phase 1 of TAHAWUL, the following systems will be launched:
- The new HR Portal called HR Connect (built on SAP SuccessFactors)
- SAP S/4HANA (Migrating from current SAP ECC6)
- New KAUST Portal called Markaz (Built on SAP Cloud Platform)
These systems are due to go live by mid-year. Currently, the teams are working on System Integration Testing (SIT) and moving towards User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
We will continue to share the latest news and updates about TAHAWUL in the coming days.
