We are excited to invite you to the third episode of the Sustainability Seminars Series on Tuesday, June 16, entitled “Inspiring Stories of Resilience: Community Driven Rainwater Harvesting.” This series is a platform for raising scientific engagement on the complexity of sustainability.
Water is perhaps the most precious asset on earth. Indians have traditionally considered it as one of the five basic elements of nature, the others being air, soil, fire and space. Freshwater is essential for human survival, and rainfall is its single largest source. Dr. Sekhar Raghavan and Dr. Rajendra will discuss how community driven initiatives can be solutions to global problems.
Students for Sustainability is a student-led group supported by Graduate Events and Recreation and the Office of the President.
