The second graders from The KAUST School came to visit the Communications Department this morning, for a mini workshop about newspapers. Click below for photos and to see their front pages.
After sharing what they have been learning in their current unit about communication and how they express themselves, each class participated in a workshop creating their own front page of a newspaper. The students developed a headline and photo caption to accompany a collection of their own creative expressions, in the form of poetry.
