Each year, September 23 marks the anniversary of the unification of the country by the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud in 1932. It’s a time to not only remember the country’s unification, but also celebrate its achievements in the industrial, economic, and educational sectors.
In celebration of this occasion, the University will observe a national holiday on both Saturday, September 22 and Sunday, September 23.
Graduate student course instruction originally scheduled for these days will be accommodated within the remainder of the semester. Personnel who have already applied for annual leave on September 22 will have their leave balances adjusted accordingly by Human Resources.
The work week will commence on Monday, September 24.
