The Kaust Visualization Core Lab (KVL), in collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific, is pleased to announce three half-day workshops on the introductory and advanced use of the AVIZO Visualization Suite – a multi-platform data analysis and scientific visualization tool. This workshop will be led by engineers from Thermo Fisher Scientific, the developers of the software. Attendees will participate in tutorials, hands-on sessions, and discussions. Topics will include visualization, analysis generation, image processing & segmentation, meshing of various scientific datasets, and machine learning applications.
If your research involves extracting 3D information from microscopy image stacks (e.g., CT, SEM, TEM, confocal, etc.), this workshop will help you acquire new insights into your data.
AVIZO is available for use at the KAUST Visualization Core Lab (KVL) and throughout the campus by IT-provided workstations and laptops.
This is event is open to all KAUST community and staff.
