Abstract:
The seminar will highlight two accomplished experimental achievements at Tsinghua University and Peking University.
The first experimental achievement focuses on how the quantum anomalous Hall effect (QAHE), was observed from a magnetic doped topological insulator. The observation completed the quantum Hall effect family, together with the quantum Hall effect (QHE), fractal quantum Hall effect (FQHE), and Quantum spin Hall effect (QSHE).
The second experimental achievement centers around how the Photo-induced anomalous Hall effect (PI-AHE), was applied together with the photo-Induced reversed spin Hall effect (PI-RSHE) to measure the transport properties of a two dimensional electron gas (2DEG) system, obtaining the ratio between the spin mobility and diffusion coefficient.
