This workshop on Partial Differential Equations (PDE) and Traffic Modeling is intended to bring together applied mathematicians and engineers interested in modeling and analysis of traffic dynamics. The topic is highly interdisciplinary in its nature, connecting the subjects of partial differential equations, computational science, fluid dynamics, modeling, and social behavior. The workshop will focus on the practical challenges facing engineers as well as mathematical difficulties facing the applied mathematicians.
