Government Affairs announces the introduction of VFS-TasHeel Centers and Visa Application Processes for all Saudi Arabian Visas. This new procedure instituted by the government of Saudi Arabia is a global approach that is being used by many countries today to ensure an improved visa application process. Additionally, because only a short recognition scan is needed at entry points, this process will result in shortening the waiting time and queues at Saudi airports.
Important aspects of the new procedure:
- An appointment will need to be made online at the respective VFS Tasheel Center.
- The applicant will be required to undergo a fingerprint scan.
- The expected visa process time is estimated at 4-7 business days.
- The status of a visa application can be monitored online or through SMS.
- Depending on the country, communication may be done in several languages.
VFS-TasHeel Visa Centers are currently operational in the countries below:
- Germany (Berlin-Frankfurt)
- United Arab Emirates (Dubai- Abu Dhabi -AlSharjah)
- Jordan (Amman)
- South Korea (Seoul)
- Bahrain (Manama)
By the end of 2013, VFS-TasHeel Visa will cover almost all countries. As more countries adopt the new VFS-TasHeel process, Government Affairs (GA) will keep you informed of new countries utilizing this system. We do expect some confusion during this early stage of implementation, but please be assured that GA is doing its best to overcome any foreseen obstacles.
