Partner with TKS for the Mate Rov Competition. For the fourth year in a row, The KAUST School is proud to host the Mate Rov Regional Competition, and we need YOU!
What is Mate Rov?
MATE ROV refers to the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Competition, a global underwater robotics challenge where student teams design, build, and operate ROVs to complete tasks modeled on real-world ocean workplace scenarios. The program teaches STEM skills, encourages entrepreneurial thinking by having students act as mock companies, and exposes participants to technical careers through its multi-level class structure for K-12 through university students.
This year’s Regional Competition for Saudi Arabia will be held on April 17 at TKS.
How you can partner with us
Your support is essential to make this program possible. Here are the ways you can get involved:
- Sponsorship – Providing resources or financial contributions
- Mentorship – Working directly with student teams to provide feedback, advice, and guidance to help students improve their designs and troubleshoot challenges
- Event volunteers – Helping with event coordination and management during the April competition
Whether you’re a scientist, business professional, robotics specialist, experienced hobbyist, or simply someone who wants to have a positive impact on the next generation–your support could make a big difference.
