Lunchtime Keynote Lecture: 'Why we eat what we eat'

Why we eat what we eat
12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Auditorium (bldg. 20)
A light snack will be served from 12:00 p.m.

In this keynote lecture, Lewis Dartnell, an expert in astrobiology, professor at the University of Westminster, will explain what are the fundamentals of where our food comes from and why did our ancestors 10,000 years ago chose to cultivate the crops they did out of the thousands of natural plant species. He will refer to his successful book “The Knowledge, How to Rebuild Our World From Scratch” with a signing session at the end of the lecture.

During lunchtime at the Campus Diner, the Student Green Group will launch their campaign against food waste. Participate in the “leftover challenge” and be in with a chance of winning prizes.
