This week we’ve been inspired by eight KAUST schoolchildren who raised 1,500 SAR in support of the Thuwal & Qadimah School Kit Campaign. Hamza Khasawneh, Noor Ramadan, Youssef El Hagrasy, Omar Abukhalaf, Naser Abukhalaf, Yusef Fayad, Yara Albatran, Ahmad Alghamdi sold baked goods and lemonade to community members during their Helping Hands volunteer week.
Thus far the campaign has generated enough support to provide school supplies to nearly 646 children in Thuwal and Qadimah schools. With four weeks to go, we need your help to reach our goal of serving all 2,000 children.
You can help by purchasing vouchers at Tamimi, Majar Gift Shop, and the Campus Diner. You still have until Sunday, August 2 to make your contribution. Please remember that KAUST will match all the funds raised.
