Cutting-edge fluorescence microscopy: from basics to advanced applications
June 14-17, 2021
Building 9, level 3, room 3131
Overview
Fluorescence imaging technologies are essential to resolve biological processes in time and space. The continuous revolutionary advances in technology have enabled biologists to image and quantify dynamic processes within cells and organs and to measure molecular mechanisms and interactions within living tissues. The workshop aims to familiarize
biologists with these new opportunities and use them in their research.
The applicants will gain knowledge in the principles of fluorescence microscopy and spectroscopy, and gain insights into the latest fluorescence microscopy technologies. The use of different technologies will guide the participants in selecting the most suitable method to apply for each specific research question.
