The Information Technology Department is excited to announce another round of courses provided to the Community. Below are briefs of the courses and topics to be covered in each course. Classes are two hours long and open only to the first fifteen registered attendees as spaces are limited for our summer sessions. Introduction to SharePoint 2013 (general training)
This course teaches you how to perform general tasks in SharePoint 2013 for administrating a SharePoint site and will also cover Security and Permissions and Content Management.
General topics that will be covered:
- login to the SharePoint websites
- understanding the ribbon
- working with pages
- accessing the backend
- working with the home page
- users and Roles
- permissions levels
- restricting a site and access
- content creation
- library management
- drafts, check-in/check-out, publishing
Course Duration: 2 hours (50-minute class, 10 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A.
Office 365: Introduction (general training)
This course covers the basics of Office 365, the Microsoft Office Suite that gives users access to the Office cloud environment. It allows users to work remotely on any device and includes many different applications and features.Topics that will be covered:
- what is Office 365?
- benefits of Office 365
- login to Office 365
- installing OneDrive Client
- configuring OneDrive
Course Duration: 2 hours (50 minutes class, 10 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)

FormStack: Introduction (general training)
This course covers the basics of FormStack; an online platform that helps users collaborate with teams, streamline internal processes, and collect and manage data.
Topics that will be covered:
- general overview of settings
- design and building of forms
- notifications and e-mails
- how to collect information
- reporting
Course Duration: 2 hours (50-minute class, 10 minutes break, 45 minutes class, 15 minutes Q&A)

Sitefinity (general training)
- creating webpages on Sitefinity
- managing content on pages
- reviewing and publishing of webpages
- requesting access to Sitefinity
