The KAUST IT Data and Analytics Team is pleased to announce the launch of the 360 Degrees Assessment of Data and Analytics at KAUST on March 1, 2022. As an institution of knowledge, facts and data have always been at the very core of KAUST’s drive for innovation. The University has invested significant resources and efforts to bring Enterprise Data closer to people. With positive feedback and tangible outcomes, our mission is to continue to do so in the future.
One of the key principles is the acceleration of data and analytics usage in creative and innovative ways for decision-makers who need aggregated data and insights to make informed decisions.
From the Enterprise Data and Analytics services provided by IT over the last decade, KAUST’s Data Controllers and Information Producers have been contributing significantly to the use of Enterprise Data to produce the information needed by executives, managers, decision-makers and influencers across various KAUST Departments, as well as the general community.
In pursuit of making these services quicker and easier to use – and to use data with advanced analytics, predictive and prescriptive capabilities – a complete 360 Assessment is being rolled out to all the relevant stakeholders.
To assess the current state of the Enterprise Data maturity and use, there will be a kickoff meeting, surveys and interviews with key stakeholders. All the current and possible Data Controllers and Information Producers are welcome to be part of this assessment, to provide feedback and ideas for enhancing the Data and Analytics usage and value. Once you register, we will invite you to the kick-off event on March 1, 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Light lunch will be provided to the attendees after the conclusion of the event.
