
For KAUST Students, Grades 7–9
As part of the KAUST Enrichment for Youth (KEY) program under KAUST Academy, we’re excited to announce the launch of the VEX V5 Robotics Club @ KAUST, a hands-on weekend program designed for students in Grades 7 to 9. This initiative is led by KAUST AI & Robotics faculty, with program kits funded by the KAUST Center of Excellence in Generative AI.
About the Program
- Schedule: September 2025 to May 2026
- Timing: 3-hour sessions on Fridays or Saturdays (final schedule to be confirmed)
- Format: Hands-on learning using VEX V5 Classroom and Competition Super Kits
- Focus: Robot building, coding, and engineering design
- Structure: Team-based, collaborative sessions with essential parent involvement
Why join?
Students will:
- Build real-world skills in STEM, robotics, and coding
- Learn through teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
- Prepare for potential participation in the VEX Robotics World Championship in Dallas
