The purpose of the KAUST Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) is to enable members of the community to contribute to protection and emergency response in the unlikely event of a large incident.
- Are you adventurous?
- Are you a problem solver?
- Do you want to learn new skills?
- Do you want to push your boundaries?
- Would you like to meet new people
- Are you looking to become part of an amazing team?
- Are you looking for a fantastic addition to your résumé?
- Are you KAUST resident 18 years old or over?
If you answered yes to the above, the KVFD might be for you!

The KVFD meets at the Fire Station on a weekly basis. Trainings consist of classroom learning and practical training in the fire station and at our purpose-built fire training rig.
