The Arts Office welcomes those who are interested in participating in our two community music groups – the orchestra and the chorus.
The orchestra is made up of those individuals who have had previous experience learning a musical instrument; a string instrument (violin, viola, cello, or bass) or a wind instrument (flute, oboe, or clarinet). Interested community members should schedule an informal interview to tryout on your instrument. The orchestra meets on Sunday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m..
The chorus consists of community members who have some previous knowledge of music reading; however, the main objective is the enjoyment of singing in ensemble! The chorus rehearses on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 p.m..
For information about either the orchestra or chorus, please send an email to the Arts Office. Both groups begin rehearsals this week to prepare for the Community Concert on Sunday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.
