Symposium on Future Environmental and Biological Scenarios Between the Mediterranean and the Red Sea

You are invited to attend The Italian Research Day dedicated to a symposium on Future Environmental and Biological scenarios between the Mediterranean and the Red Seaincluding an exciting interactive Red Sea exhibition and workshop.
Visitors will get a chance to experience an interdisciplinary symposium delivered in English discussing different biological aspects of the Red Sea and parallels with the Mediterranean Sea by researchers from KAUST and two Italian universities.
The program will also feature water.colours, a Red Sea biodiversity exhibition curated by Solkem N’Gangbet KAUST based ARTmosphere.
The event will be hosted by Dr. Elisabetta Martini, Consul General of Italian Consulate in Jeddah.
The symposium will feature:
- Daniele Daffonchio, Professor of Bioscience, KAUST
- Giorgio Bavestrello, Professor of Zoology, University of Genova
- Folco Giomi, Researcher in Ecology, University of Padova
