HSE Fire Safety update: STOP unattended cooking at KAUST

At KAUST, safety is a shared responsibility. Each of us plays a role in preventing fires and in holding one another accountable for safe behavior. Despite ongoing outreach and education efforts by the KAUST Fire Department (KFD), incidents caused by unattended cooking have risen since January 2024.

This trend must stop. We urge all community members to take fire safety seriously and eliminate risky behaviors, especially unattended cooking, that endanger lives and property at KAUST.
