As part of our activities to welcome new members of our community, HR Learning & Development and Community Services are pleased to invite your spouse to the spouse orientation morning on Thursday, April 2, from 9:45 am – 11:30 a.m. at the Island Recreation Club.
We have designed an informative and interactive morning including a networking lunch. Your spouse will have the opportunity to learn more about our community, find helpful information and talk with other spouses and representatives from different departments such as recruitment (opportunities for spouses), KAUST medical clinic (KMC) and Community & Recreation services. The below topics will be discussed:
- What is a self-directed group?
- How can I improve my English language skills?
- What family activities are happening after school?
- How can I learn more about Saudi Arabian culture?
- When do the free shopping busses go to Jeddah?

Is this only for spouse of employees/students new in kaust? Or its open to spouse of all employees/students?

if your spouse has never attended Spouse Orientation before, your spouse is more than welcomed to attend. and it applies to all spouses who have never attended spouse orientation..

the event is for spouses of KAUST staff/students and of KAUST’s research parke tenants.. we are not expecting spouses of visitors/students from other universities for example to attend since they are not either KAUST memebers nor related to our research tenants
